SP4 Jimmy Allen Marcum a true hero!
I want to say to Jimmy, that before I knew you, there was a void in my life, then I met you, and I felt I'd have a friend for life.
Then I heard the sad news, another hero dies. My heart felt sick. But I know you gave all for your country, so we would be free.
I hoped you would come home, Dear friend. But instead you went to your eternal home. And I know now that I will see you again, and we will talk for hours about the times we had at the stockyards, we sure had a lot of laughs. I'm sorry we never got to do the hunting trip we planned before you got called to duty.
I was so in pressed how much you loved your family and friends. You were a true friend, and I loved you as a free buddy and pal.
When I hear of a young man going to fight, I always think of you. As I said a true hero.
If God would please give you my message, l would love you to get it surrounded by family and friends.cause when I think of you I think of goodness I think Jimmy Marcum.
As I age I know I will see you again. I can't wait to shake your hand, sitting at the feet of Jesus in all his glory.
Your True Forever

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Jimmy Allen Marcum, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
