Childhood friend

We lived around the corner from each other while growing up in The Bronx. We didn’t know each other really well but I remember you being really nice. I really liked you and was saddened when I heard the news. When the Viet Nam moving wall came to my NJ town today, I found your name. I thought of you often throughout the years. One day we’ll meet again. In the meantime know you may be gone but not forgotten.

honoring you....

Remember to save for them a place inside of you, and save one backward glance when you are leaving, for the places they can no longer go...

Rest In Peace brothet

Our last names were similar with just a few different letters. We were neighborhood friends and school mates. I served in country in 1968. You are my brother. Rest In Peace.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Louis Marciano, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Flag Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
