Thank You

Dear Captain Charles Manske, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. I researched you on your 51st anniversary, sad. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly, but it is an unusual time. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Be at peace.

My Pilot

I was the crew chief on the fighter he flew May 24 1969. It was the second sortie of the day and Capt. Manske checked the acft. formes and started going up to the cockpit. As I started up behind him my boss told me to run up another acft. So I didn't actually send him off. Unfortunately that was the last time I saw him. Rest in peace SIR!!
