PFC Robert Bernard Mann was awarded the Soldier's Medal for his acts of heroism on behalf of his fellow soldiers. He served as a Helicopter Repairer and was assigned to
the 119TH AHC, 52ND AVN BN, 17TH AVN GROUP, 1ST AVIATION BDE.

Dear PFC Robert Mann, Thank you for your service as a Huey UH-1 Helicopter Repairer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly, but it is an unusual time. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

17 years after my first post I still wear a RBM silver memorial bracelet. Visit his resting place in Salem often, making sure the family spot is well maintained and an American flag is on the site.
