Rest in peace
Jim and I went grade school, high school and college together. I was in Army O.C.S. reading a letter from Jim when I was notified that of orders to go to Indianapolis to be pall bearer...good man, good leader.

Jim
I remember Jim as a fuuny and very intelligent classmate. We always got into trouble for having too good of a time talking in the back of the class (we were both taller than our peers).
I lost my own brother , Jim Kurdelski, also a marine in April 1966. Them I heard about Jim Mallon's death later that year. I was also serving in the Air Force at the time.
He was a truly good person and the Lord must have needed him sooner than the rest of us. My sincere condolences to all fellow Marines, and hid his family and friends.
May he rest in peace. Pat Kurdelski
