Ground Casualty
MSGT Robert O. Korns and A1C Thomas H. Trebatoski were assigned to the 432nd Missile Maintenance Squadron at Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base (Udorn RTAFB) in Thailand. On October 2, 1966, there was a munitions accident at the base where an explosion occurred. Both Korns and Trebatoski suffered fatal injuries in the incident.
