THE WALL OF FACES

Mike and I were in flight school in Billings together. I was hired by Northwest Airlines as a pilot and Mike went the WO Army direction. I think of him often as he lost everything in losing his life. He was a great pilot and deserved a chance at Northwest rather than losing his life in Vietnam. I would suspect he was a great Huey pilot as well as fixed wing pilot.

Rest in peace with the warriors.

Michael, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting the freedoms we have today.

Michael is buried at Ft Snelling Nat Cem.

I would like to thank Michael Allen Mahowald for giving his life in the Vietnam War. I have a lot of respect for the many men that served our country. Each and every soldier deserves to be remembered and honored from what they all did. I am giving this remembrance to Michael Allen Mahowald.
