Classmate at Navy Hospital Corps School, Field Medical School , and Ward Duty at Albans Hospital.

Robert and I were members of the Hospital Corps School Company 6752 at Great Lakes that graduated on January 18, 1968. He also attended Field Medical Service School at Camp Lejeune from February 20, 1968 to March 22, 1968. He and I were both then assigned to the Saint Albans Naval Hospital in New York. We received our orders for Vietnam on the same day. I was assigned to the Hospital Ship USS Sanctuary. If memory serves me, I seem to recall that he visited me on the ship when he was there for some medical reason.

Remembering a respected Corpsman

Doc, all Marines honor our Corpsman. It's going on 52 years, the August 19th anniversary is coming up and I still remember that night, everyday in all these years my thoughts have reflected on that night and my 3 Marine brothers and you Doc who took care of us.
