Thank You
Dear Cap. Milo Maahs, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. I researched you on your 83rd birthday, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Memorial Day weekend, but like none other. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Grandpa
Capt Milo George Maahs is my grandfather, and if I had anything to say to him today if he were here is God Bless You. I know almost everything that I know about him. Which I will try to share with you to the best of my ability(the information that isn't provided on this page). Captain Milo George Maahs was above Ben Hoa over enemy lines doing his first bomb run, he was the leader, he was shot on the wing and so he returned to friendly lines but he was out of hydronic fluid so he ejected. He was to low to the ground so his parachute malfunctioned and didn't open.
Milo had three children, little girl named Dana who was five, a young son named Darren who was three, and a 21 month old boy named David. His wife was Donna Lee (Shader) Maahs. Now Donna Lee (Shader) Wilson was widowed with three small children at the age of 28.
This is Captain Milo George Maahs' story. My grandpas story

Remembering An American Hero
Dear Captain Milo George Maahs, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter
