Michael carried on the tradition of the "Greatest Generation". He was courageous, patriotic, and 100% all American. An outstanding solider and a born leader. It was an honor to know him. I think of him often.

Dear Sgt Michael Lyden, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 51st anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another spring, but like none other. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
