Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

I still have the USMC bracelet and stripes you gave me !
When I get to Green Bay , I always visit you .
And when I get to Heaven to Saint Peter I will tell " One more Marine reporting Sir , I've served my time in Hell "
Now you're in Heaven with your Mama and mine . Save a seat for me .
I went to see your name on the Wall and sat and cried for us .

Dear PFC Eugene Lupe, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 52nd anniversary is soon, sad. I researched you on the 52nd anniversary of the start of your tour. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
