To my Passed family member
Dear Uncle Herbert,
I know you never met me but you are my great uncle. Not only that but your nephew Matthew Bechtel ,who is my father, joined the military. You never got to meet him either. Yesterday I visited the Vietnam memorial. Although I never met anyone named on that memorial it hurt to stand there and realize all that you have sacrificed for our country and to get little respect. In your name and all my relatives who have joined the military I will join them in the military. Although I will be the only one from my generation in our family joining.
Your niece -
Azlynn Bechtel
