My Rememberance
I was given a piece of his American Flag when my class was visited by 2 other veterans. One of the veterans had his life saved by Frank Beavers, and told me how he had died trying to save somebody else, like a true hero.

I was given a piece of you from our American flag for which you served valiantly as a medic for others during the Vietnam war. Your legacy is not forgotten by your dear friend Howard, who speaks of you still 54 years later from your death. I will always remember what you did for me and our country.
