THE WALL OF FACES

Some may think you are forgotten
Though on earth you are no more
But in our memory you are with us
As you always were before….

I remembered hearing as a kid that a distant cousin of mine was a war hero, and proudly rubbing his name off the Vietnam wall knowing that my family made its mark on history. Even though I didn’t know him, I can say that I am so undoubtedly proud of him. Hopefully I can be like him one day.

Dear Sgt Herbert Loucks, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 45th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon just passed, and it is still sad. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.
