Dear Sgt Charley Stanley, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman, I researched you on your 54th anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was the 47th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I wanted to let you know that I think of you all the time and I miss you so very much. How I wish I had you in my life. You know a daughter needs her father. I dedicated a song to you and its called "Father's and Daughters" by Michael Bolton. You should listen to it when you get a chance, it makes me get through the rough days here on earth.

Hello Dad, I have been missing you for the last 50 years. I know your with the LORD in heaven. I wanted to let you know that you have 5 wonderful grandchildren which 2 of them decided to follow in your footsteps. Jordan & Jacob are serving the US Army. We all went to Washington DC back in 2016 to visit you and we all had an amazing experience. They welcomed us with open arms and announced us as your surviving family. I see your pictures and I wish you were here with us, but I know where you are and you are in good hands. I want to thank you for your service and for protecting all of us here on earth. SGT Charley V. Stanley was an infantryman assigned to C Company, 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 25th Infantry Division. While serving in Vietnam, he contracted malaria and was evacuated to the United States where he died at Brooke Army Hospital, Fort Sam Houston, TX, on July 7, 1968.
