Mr. Locher distinguished himself by heroism in action on June 28th, 1967 while serving in military operations, Republic of Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple hear and bronze Star for heroism. Rusty was a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, Lame Deer, Montana.
