Thank You

Dear PFC Robert Lira, Thank you for your service as a Machine Gunner. Your 51st anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is the 245th anniversary of Lexington & Concord. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Birthdate

You would have been 68 today. I hope you are celebrating with Dad and Mom in Heaven. As for me, I will have a shot of Southern Comfort in your honor. Love you my Brother. Your Sis, Rita

My Friend, My Brother.

Bobby there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you . We met at staging Bn and and became close friends, you took me home to your family on weekends and I was treated like family. We got separated in Vietnam with different units. I was medevaced but wrote you from the hospital, when I recieved the phone call from you dad that you had been KIA, my heart sank in my chest. I cried day upon day over your death and hoped and prayed that you didn't suffer. One of your friends told me you didn't suffer, but to this day the pain in my heart aches for the Brotherhood we had. Rest in peace my Brother, when I see you at the gates I'll hug you then you can show me my new post. Semper Fi Bobby.
