Remembering An American Hero

Dear 1LT John Joseph Link, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Gone from my side but always in my heart

The annivasery of your passing is few weeks away. I have lived a life twice the time you had here on this earth. I was 9 yrs old when I lost you...yet to this day I feel you..know you and miss you. This young mans impact on my life has shown itself in so many ways. I am strong and successful. I do not shy away from things that are difficult. I do not take the easy way...I take the right way. This is is not small measure due to him. He is my Uncle and I know I will see him again when my time to leave here arrives.
