Thanks, My fellow Marine and good friend.

It was an honor to have served with you at Camp Lejune, NC, in 1964 - 1965, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines, Weapons Plt. and did (3) LPH cruises. We made E-4 together and spent some good liberty times with your family in Wadesboro, NC. May your Legacy live on, we need it. GOD Bless You Jerry.

My Hero

First met Jerry when stationed at Camp Delmar. I was a newly wed 2nd Lieutenant with my wife, assigned to Tracked Vehicle School. If there ever was a picture poster Marine, it was Jerry. He wore the insignia of the Navy Seals with pride. He was married to a wonderful woman and had two young boys. Best of all Jerry was a wonderful human being.

After my tour of Vietnam I was assigned to TVS. By the time I arrived Jerry had shipped out for his second tour. I will always remember him as very kind man, wonderful husband, father and my friend.

Namaste
Mort Hurt

Thank You

Dear SSgt Jerry Lineberry, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Leader. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Easter Friday. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
