Dear PO2C Charles Lindbloom, Thank you for your service as a Photographer's Mate 2nd Class. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Easter Wednesday, and Passover. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Be at peace with the angels.

My girlfriend and I went to Da Nang to the beach, a few miles from where PH2 Charles D. Lindbloom bailed out.

My sister wore a POW / MIA bracelet with his name on it until the band cracked and broke in two. On a website I looked at for the information posted here, I found that there is still someone who is wearing their bracelet to this day. Five decades. That is quite moving for someone to keep wearing theirs for so long.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.
