What a Hero
Died going after his 2LT who had been hit by sniper fire. The sniper mortally wounded PFC Bean as he attempted to assist.

You were 3 years older than me when we were kids but you still took the time to hang out with me a couple of times. I had a lot of respect for you as a kid without a dad. You were kind and a good role model. I was on leave, heading to Vietnam when I heard you were killed so my memory of you became sealed forever. See you again someday.... Peace.
