Dear Sp4 Roger Leaser, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Spring! For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Red came into Charlie company and went to the 3rd platoon. I was company RTO (radio operator) when we took enemy fire for two days in a row. it was on the 2nd day Red got hit. I called in medical hellicopter to take him. We had to load him on jungle penetrator to lift him into the chopper. I was one of the last in the company to see him go. He did his best. I have always thought of him all my life. The saying is he who sheds his blood with me shall always be my brother. Rest In Peace my friend. Butch LeBrun Charlie company RTO 69-70 Vietnam
