Loving You!

Just thinking of you as I do every day!
You would be so proud of Kyle! Now 21 and a Senior at NIU.
He is such a caring and loving son, brother, and grandson and more.
He is dating a beautiful lady named Sarah and I know you would have
liked her?
Courtnie is married and as beautiful as ever. I still can hear you ask her
Courtnie how do you spell "Fun" and she would lite up and start smiling
and and spell the word back to you!!
Cheona is a beauty also. Almost 19 and is starting her 2nd year of College. She wants to be a "Nurse". Very smart!
I could go on you have missed so much. Love from your family and wife,Lynn

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC John Harold Berg, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
