Dear Pvt Eugene Lavoy, Thank you for your service as a Warehouse Clerk. Your 53rd anniversary just passed, sad.Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Gene was at Khe Sanh in a supply unit. An NVA mortar round hit the hootch he was in.

Eugene, I never knew you. I saw your name on the wall and it stuck in my mind and my heart. Thank you for your service and sacrifice for the freedom and betterment of all people. My life has been blessed by you!
