LEARNING WHO I WAS NAMED AFTER
My father Hoey Earl Lesnioski, Aka (BO) Served With Mr. Lavoie.
Long story short my father wanted my name to be Gerald Lavoie, and call me Jerry.
I do have the honor of Lavoie being my middle name (Valerie Lavoie Whitlock). I wish I would have had been able to meet the man who served with my father and the man my father thought so highly of to name me after. I really do not know much about him, but when people ask where did I get my middle name, I proudly say my fathers battle buddy that served with him in Vietnam.

Thank You
Dear Cpl Gerald Lavoie, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Funny
The one thing that I remember about my brother-in-law Jerry is when my husband and I were first married we took him to Jack witches to see a wrestling match and as we were driving home we were all in the front seat of our convertible and I guess my husband was driving a little too fast and Jerry said three nuts in a spaceship and we all laughed !! We couldn't stop laughing
And Jerry your brother Dick thinks about you all the time and sometimes it hurts he has tears in his eyes because he misses you so much God bless you and we all love you
