honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

always remember

When ever I am in DC I go to the wall to look up Stewart J Lavigne. I am a vet that served during this conflict from 72 to 74 and grew up in North Adams MA. I was 19 in 1969. I go to the wall look at his name and then step back and salute him. You see my name is M. J. Lavigne.

Thank You

Dear Cpl Stewart Lavigne, Thank you for your service as a Huey, UH-1 Helicopter Repairer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. For many of us, we have begun Lent. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
