Thank you
We've never met, but I found you when I was at basic at Ft McClellan in 1991. I wore your rememberence bracelet every day of my military career. Whenever things got tough, whenever I thought I couldn't go on, there you were. You always reminded me that you did it. You went to war. You died for your country. Could I be expected to do any less? Thank you Stephen. It's been 25 years and I still have you to keep me going.

Not forgotten
Stephen, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting our freedoms.

NEVER FORGOTTEN
FOREVER REMEMBERED
Slip off that pack. Set it down by the crooked trail. Drop your steel pot alongside. Shed those magazine-ladened bandoliers away from your sweat-soaked shirt. Lay that silent weapon down and step out of the heat. Feel the soothing cool breeze right down to your soul....and rest forever in the shade of our love, brother.
