The Morning We Lost You Lt. Lane
This is close to home for me as Lt. Lane was killed by a rocket attack along with others in Chu Lai, Americal Div HQ in '69. I was on guard duty very close to that evac hospital when one of the rockets hit that facility early in the morning. Hitting an evac hospital!! It was so devastating and emotional for all of us. I have never forgotten losing you Lt. Lane and all the others who lost their life.

Thank You
You cared for my spouse while a patient at Fitzsimmons General Hospital…Denver prior to your departure to Vietnam. Thank for being so caring. Your caring personality led me to become an RN and to pay it forward. You “Stacked Arms” for the final time and stepped back out of Life’s back door on that tragic day. RIP Sharon, your legacy will forever live on.
