THE WALL OF FACES

How unbelieveable it seems so many years have passed ... but still have fond memories pop up now and then: my first plane ride to visit California friends and family and your funny dog (1/2 lab, 1/2 dachshund)!! I was surprised and very pleased when you chose to write to me after you joined up. Thank you for your service Dennis. Still Missing you!

Today, my youngest son (your grandson) stands at the Vietnam Memorial Wall. He looks so much like Dennis from the picture his buddy, Lew, sent me (even more so than my oldest son does.) He was even born on his birthday!

Dennis your daughter got in touch with me. I told her all about you. I sent her another picture along with a set of orders where you and myself and other guys we served with where awarded a air medal. She was thrilled to get something with your name on it. Proud to have served with. Lew Cranick
