Dear Captain Ladewig, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Fighter Pilot. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. For many of us, today is Ash Wednesday. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels

I have carried a wristband that bears your name since 1987. I received it when I was in ROTC at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I looked up your place of rest in that jungle, and will never forget you. Thank you, Sir. As long as I am alive, you are with me.
