A friend of yours

My former husband (now deceased), Patrick Quinn, was a friend of yours in Viet Nam. He spoke of you and I always remember you on Memorial Day and am grateful you two were friends while serving as Medics.

honoring you....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Mango Telli is especially poignant. That a grade school was named in your honor is gratifying. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us...

Rest In Peace

A photo of you greeted us grade schoolers every morning as we came into the school named in your honor. Just a little kid, I didn't know why the school was named after you; I didn't know what Vietnam was; I didn't know that you had lost your life there. Now I know those things, and it breaks my heart. Rest in peace, Mr. Baum.
