You have not been forgotten!
Billy, I graduated from Stonington High School the year you lost your life in Vietnam. I was devastated when I heard about. your passing. I am sure you would not remember me, but I remember you. Your wonderful smile and your playful attitude is fore ever imprinted on my mind. The flag I fly on my house is for you and I will fly it as long as I can. Thank you for your dedication to this country and to the hope of peace and freedom.

Oorah!
Hey Billy, remember when you came home on leave before you went to Nam? We had a good old time at "bud hill" lol.
I still have all those letters that you sent me when you were in the Corps. Thanks bro, you led the way. I did my best to follow in your footsteps. Big shoes to fill... I think you'd be proud of me as I am of you.
Your classmate and friend,
Sgt Don, USMC, 66-70
Vietnam 68-69
