Bronze Star Medal Award
Specialist Four Alvin E Kurtz was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor for his exemplary courage under fire. He served as an Infantryman and was assigned to C Co, 1st Bn, 16th Infantry, 1st Infantry Div.
