POSTED ON 2.19.2011

If I should die...rremembrances for MAJ. Robert John KUHLMAN, JR, USMC...who died for our country!!!

If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again nto life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

I think of you often.

I am so sad that you are still missing after all of these years, and we never even met. I cannot even imagine the pain your loved ones feel, at losing the pleasure of your company. I also have your bracelet from the year of 1970 or 1971. At the time you were only a Captain dated 1-69 and a young adult. When the traveling Wall Memorial came to Tarentum, PA a few years ago, I had hoped that you were not still M.I.A. but that was not to be.
No words can express our gratitude for your sacrifices.

Your Bracelet

I am a POW/MIA advocate, and I was given your bracelet by a lady that has worn it since you were listed as missing. I am not able to get to DC to the Wall, so I am going to the traveling Wall in Florissant, Mo tonite, and I am going to place it at the foot of your panel. Keep fighting,
