Thank You Cousin…Always Remembered and Loved

I never met you because you died before I was born but I was told about your bravery. And I love you. Thank you for having served and given for all of us.

Thank You

Dear PFC Brian Krill, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is Valentine’s Day, Happy Valentine’s Day. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering a brave man after 50 years

I was Platoon Leader, 2nd Platoon that day and remember watching 3rd Platoon pass through our line and head off the LZ to expand our small perimeter. They were hit almost immediately with a barrage of fire. When we were finally able to get down to help them, Skeet Miller and another 2nd platoon guy each volunteered to carry both Brian and Tio back to the medic on the LZ at the top of the hill. These were very brave men and I miss them very much.
