Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your son is especially moving. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us.

You were there in the beginning with Grand-Daddy, Ma, me, Kenney, and Steve. We were all young when you left to serve and it was by the will of God that took you from us. Your wife became a widow at 21 and never remarried up to the day she passed 42 year later. We struggled without you but your Father became our father and eased the pain and suffering in our youth. We struggled some but we made it.
