Never Forgotten

I will not ever forget Bobby. We had wonderful times as teenagers. Life was cut too short for you. Thank you for serving our country in the most precious way.

Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep

On this anniversary of your death thanks for your service to our country sir. I hope this poem gives some small measure of solace to those who knew you..........................Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Spec.4,Bobby Kowalski, A-3-7, 199TH lIGHT infantry

We became friends in AIT,So.
Carolina. He was a very brave soldier, that day he walked point to break a new man. When the new man got hit he tried to get him. Nobody realizes hoe brave he was. They should have given him a medal. I always will think of him.
