'I was Jimmy's older brother and growing up as kids we were your typical country boys. Living in open agricultural area of Eastern Conn. Jimmy always talked about serving his country as a Marine. This was all he wanted to be. He was a volunteer in the Hebron Fire Dept. One day he was driving past the Hebron Elementary School and noticed they had mistakenly put the flag up in an upside down position. Boy! did this wrankle him. He hit the brakes and went to see the school principal and told him of his serious mistake. This was corrected to Jim's satisfaction. I often wonder what he would have been like if allowed to grow old. He was very patriotic and would have probably been a career marine. I've been to 'the Wall.' He paid the ultimate price for freedon. I still wish he was around to talk and share a beer with. I miss him and I too will see him in a later life.

His older brother,
Bob'
