Thank You

Dear Colonel Robert Kline, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Fighter-Bomber Pilot. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the 11th Day of Christmas, Merry Christmas and happy New Year in heaven. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Robert E. Kline

I have worn his POW/MIA bracket for over 35yrs.,(even at my son's wedding) so I feel some sort of weird connection to his family although we have never met or spoke to one another. I sincerely appreciate the sacrifice that he and his family, as well as all of our current service men and women have met for us. May God let those of that have past, rest in peace and everyone else may he guide you to a safe return home. Tammy Furman Canaan. New Hampshire

A great hero more than once

Col Kline was also shot down over southern Laos around the end of OCT 1966. I personally know this because a was the Army Huey pilot who had the honor of rescuing him on that occasion.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear Colonel Robert Earl Kline, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
