Silver Star Medal Award

Captain Paul Gerding Bast was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot and was assigned to the 13TH TAC FTR SQDN, 432ND TAC RECON WING, 7TH AF.
