A young girl’s memory
When I was a young girl in the early 1970s, my school gave us each a POW/MIA bracelet to wear and your name was on mine. I wore it with pride and prayed for your return. I never forgot you. Recently when my husband Frank and I visited Washington DC, we went to the Vietnam Memorial and looked for your name. I had to know what happened to you. I got my answer. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. You will never be forgotten by me.
