Thank You

Dear WO Stephen Kinghorn, Thank you for your service as a Utility/Observation Helicopter Pilot. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was Christmas, Merry Christmas. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Never forget

Tomorrow Dec 4 2017 marks 50 years since we met. We were not friends, just enlistees embarking on a life changing experience. More so for you & your family than for me or mine. I have not forgotten nor will not forget you or the others who sacrificed

Stephen remembered

Stephen: Never stopped thinking about you and your sacrifice. Both from the same area (main Line). Met at 401 N Broad in Phila. Flew to Ft Polk together for Basic (A-1-1) and even went through the same challenges of repeat eye examines fearing rejection for flight school. There was simply no option for you. It was flight school or infantry training. You were so glad you made it to flight school. I did not and went to other less desirable training.

My prayers and thoughts for you and your family as we celebrate this Fourth. Thank you for your service, for your sacrifice, your families sacrifice.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear WO Stephen John Kinghorn, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

For Stephen

Even though I didn't get the chance to meet you, I wanted to thank you for your service. Also being from Bryn Mawr, getting the chance to learn about who you were as a person has really opened my eyes about how people I live near can have the same bravery as you did. Thank you for making the biggest sacrifice anyone could make.
