Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank you for your service in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

To Mike’s Family and others ,
Mike was a very kind guy. Quiet but not exactly shy. We graduated from high school together, Class of ‘68 , and attended the same church . I have fond memories of him from both places. Both of us just got by in Biology class! Gone too soon and as I grow older I realize the depth of his sacrifice. I did attend his military funeral at the Rock Island Arsenal and am proud to have known him and call him a friend. A brave and beautiful soul.

Dear PFC James King, Thank you for your service as a Machine Gunner. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is almost Christmas. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
