To Put A Face With A Name
Dear Lewis, to honor your memory and the sacrifice you made for our country I want to make sure your photo will be displayed on your birthday each and every year when the Education Center is completed, so it is with great pride and humility that I post this remembrance with a picture of you from your 1962 Aldolpho HS Yearbook that was directed to me by your friend and fellow classmate, Ron (Rolland) Forrester. You are not forgotten and remain in the hearts of many all these years later. You have been designated to be one of God's special angels, along with the love of my life, who also sacrificed his life during this war. God Bless You, Lewis, for being who you were and for all you did--we live in freedom to this day thanks to heroes like you.

name carried on in honor for two mor generations .
Dear uncle Buddy, even though we never got to meet. I love you ! I want to let you and your brothers know that my father Jon H. Kimmel passed on your name to me . With much honor I will carry it to my grave , I am Lewis A.Kimmel III born June 19 1977. You are gone but never forgotten in this family. Unfortunatly Grandpa passed in 1988 as you know I'm sure you are with him and grandma in heaven. At the age of 12 I lost my father in 1989 , but to me it was not looked as a loss . Just more as a reunion with his little brother. The kimmel family at that point was survived by my. Brother Jon D. Kimmel and my self. I am now 34 years old and have two children of my own they will know your legacy always as I named my son Lewis A. Kimmel IV . OH RAH and one day we will meet. Until then I send my love!

Thanks, Cuz
Buddy, you were the best, I have a few but wonderful memories. We were both military brats so didn't see each other often but you were always a great cousin. Thank you. I love you.
