LCDR Larry Ronald Kilpatrick has a Meorial Stone at section MA, site 33 of the Marietta National Cemetery in Marietta, GA.

His remains were identified in 2018.

We were notified that Larry’s remains had been found, but it was one tooth which was deemed inconclusive, Not acceptable!

Dear LTC Larry Kilpatrick, Thank you for your service as an Unrestricted Line Officer - Pilot on the USS SARATOGA. I am glad you for accounted for in 2018 - welcome home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Advent, and we are beginning our preparations. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

What an American, hero. My grandfather was name Julius Kilpatrick who had married my grandmother Fredine Webster. They had a son name was Lary Kilpatrick, who was also Navy and served during Vietnam. Both grandparents born in the South, WOW. I wonder. Fascinating fascinating fascinating
