Thank You

Dear Cpl Frederick Killmon, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman.Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Advent, and we are beginning our preparations. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Never forget

I did not this young man, but I was just remembering a dear friend of mine that was killed in Viet Nam and I saw this young gentleman’s memorial. His family and friends must be very proud of this young Marine.

Will Never Forget my Cousin

This Memorial Day I will pause and thank God for those who have served and given the ultimate sacrifice. Then, I will pause and recall the story of Frederick Killmon and how his life shaped me! I doubt I would be in the ministry today if I had not known Fred (my cousin) and seen the importance of making wise decisions with your life. Thank you Fred for your friendship and your tutoring me for life and the ministry!

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Frederick Russell Killmon, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
