Silver Star Medal Award

Specialist Four Dwight Leroy Basey was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his exemplary courage under fire. He served as an Infantryman and was assigned to B Co, 1st Bn, 14th Infantry, 25th Infantry Div.

My older brother

I'm very proud of my brother dwight I was 8 when he past and I have missed him and loved him for the past 51 years that he has been gone and I'm very proud of him and it feels my heart when I read past post from other men that served with him and new him I want to thank you for your service and kind words even now it still a comfort to his family God bless all the men and women who are serving are country and flag today tomorrow and yesterday and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
