Thank You

Dear Pvt Fred Kester, Thank you for your service as a Field Artillery Cannoneer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Thanksgiving just passed, so this is the perfect time to say thanks. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

He was my Brother

He was born Freddy Duane Kester on September 28, 1948. His Dad was Fred T. Kester and his Mom is Alice A. Ohls. Freddy was the oldest of two brothers, James and Terry, and two sisters, Louise and Darlene. He was a loving husband to Bobbie Gilliam Kester. Freddie was a kind, honest, giving person. He was a strong hardworking man with a heart of gold. His family loved him very much, and I miss my Brother everyday. Louise Kester Henry

On some of these Pictures I have saved his name as freddie BUT his correctly spelled name is FREDDY

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PVT Fred Duane Kester, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

With respect, Sir
