Ground Casualty

SP4 Robert W. Kerr was a Unit Supply Specialist serving with the 68th Assault Helicopter Company, 145th Aviation Battalion, 12th Aviation Group, 1st Aviation Brigade, U.S. Army Republic of Vietnam. Stationed at Bien Hoa Air Base on the rural plains 25 kilometers (16 miles) northeast of Saigon, Kerr was responsible for keeping Brigade personnel provided with supplies and equipment. On October 2, 1970, SP4 Kerr died at Bien Hoa where it was reported he took his own life. He was 19 years old. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org]

I Only Knew Him When We Were Kids

I only knew him when we were kids, and I wished he could have lived long enough for me to know him as an adult. The Bobby I knew was a kind, considerate, and all-around good guy. I truly liked him.
