Fallen Brother
I saw your name on the moving Wall. I know we were not togather long, but your are my Brother, and kept me Safe from our Mom. You gave me love, for our mother had none, when Dad was away. I hate to think how your life was after the divorice, and I was taken away to Oklahoma. Jan told me about Faye and Jessie Lee did not want me around. Dad said his only regreat was leaveing you behind with Faye. Since he was only your stepfather he had no say, and your Dad lived up there.I went to Nam to avenge your death, and I set in the middle of a river at Nha-be swinging on a chain, and waiting for a mine to find us. Some warror I turned out to be. Forty years later cancer,P.T.S.D.,and numbness in feet,and hands was my bullet. Your Cacti brothers have taken your Bronze Star for Valor away,and I am doing my best to get returned. Some brothers! I ask for help and got none. It is up to me to try to prove you earned this Medel and I will see it through.The wall on the net still shows your Bronze Star. GOD Bless

CACTI FOREVER
A Company, 1/35th Infantry, 3rd Brigade, 25th Inf Division.
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.
